Everyone knows that there has been alot of crazy stuff going on this last few years in this country. Whether you support the war or not, whether you have seen massive flooding, wildfires, hurricanes, or the price of gas run through the roof. I just want to to say that God is bigger than all of that and we do not need to worry. I come to realize that the nation is headed for a crisis. The economy, gas, foreign affairs, natural disasters, they are all coming at a faster rate and i truely believe that even the midwest will see one of the greatest earthquakes in the history of the country. Jesus reminded us of these things and said these would be birthing pains. This really is the generation and this is the hour that we live in.
I believe that we are headed to a time where so much is going on in this country that the goverment and all it’s little agencies cannot keep up with what they will need to help the nation get through. I believe that alot of people will be very hostile and that everything that they think is keeping them safe and stable will no longer be there. When we went through this flood of 2008. I realized actually how close we are as a city to being back in the 19th century. When 33ft. of water came running down river. WE were swept away displaced and some with out power, the city was one pump away from haveing no water. Now the lord showed us grace and did not let us get to that point but we were really within mouments of being totally knocked off of our sand foundation.
If you can discern this hour then you hear the lord calling to the church rest in me. I am the only thing worthy of being built on. You really have to let him love you first then you can love others. I tell you this, while the rest of the nation is being shaken and everything that we as americans call home is literally falling down around us we have to come to a place where jesus is everything and all that we need. My heart cries out for him to come and dwell in me more and more. Isaiah 58 says we will be call restorers of broken dwellings and later calls us oaks of righteousness. He means that our hearts will be restored for him to dwell in us but also we will be restoring dwellings for others, in there hearts and in the natural. When everything else is crashing around us the church will be going forth rooted in is love like a giant oak. Just like a real oak we will provide shade and comfort to people when the heat of day is pressing on them. We will be a place for children to climb on and feel free from the turmoil of there lives. The body of Christ will become alive with the goodness of God. We will be givers of all we have, we will be the rich young ruler, who says yes and gives it all away just to see the face of Christ. My heart is burning with passion for the bridegroom I must have more of him. Break me Lord. Teach me to be fully rested in you. I want to live in a place of unbroken fellowship with the lord. He will make our wastelands a garden and our deserts like eden, so i say come. The spirit and the bride say come. Come Lord have your way in us.
